Another Hospital Observation
While in the hospital yesterday, we saw an interesting sign that told us they were using a Baby Theft Protection System.
Her: Hey, did you notice they're using a Baby Theft Protection System.

Her: So I guess that means I can't steal any babies.
Me: You know that's not what its really for, right?
Her: What are you talking about?
Me: Its for the stuff they sell in the gift shop. Instead of those magnetic things, they just hook a baby to everything. If you walk out of the store with something, the baby just flips out.
Her: That makes sense.
Me: Yeah. I mean, they have a pretty steady supply of babies and they probably knock a little bit off the hospital bill for the parents.
*snort* You are SO not right!! Then again, neither am I. I just made jello come out of my nose because I was laughing so hard. Sheesh =)
Your name should be crazy cactus ;)
you're a strange, strange man.
i have a lowjack in each of my kids.
I set one of those off! With a baby!
Some friends of mine had just had a boy, and I went in the following day to see them. While the nurse wanted to have a moment to attend to Sarah, her husband and I walked down the hallway with their son to the lounge, but the lounge door was too close to the exit and there was a crazy beeping noise. Baby theft must be serious. We had to bring a char into the hallway and sit with Josiah inhis basinet right there, and the nurse of course came right away, but it was obvious from the start that there was no attempted theft, so we weren't in any trouble.
But my question is, what kind of crazy hospital puts the lounge in a place in maternity where no one can enter it with a baby?
Pffft next they'll start microchipping us.
