Note To Self

Re: Lunch

Mints to not constitute lunch. Nowhere in the food pyramid do mints play a significant factor. They are neither satisfying nor, after the seventh or eighth one, refreshing. In the future, when extremely busy, do not rely on breath fresheners for nourishment.

If I ate seven or eight mints, my mouth would revolt and refuse to open. But at least you don't have to worry about bad breath.

Thanks for the tip.

(From someone who keeps a bag of peppermints in the car for emergencies.)

Have you tried toothpaste? I believe it would be a little more filling. Plus there is the whole flouride benefit to think of.

Ben & Jerry's Ore MINT is a whole other story :)))))))))))

I had a similar problem with cinnamon Altoids. I ate so many within a few hours that I radiated the cinnamon smell. =\ I've tried to avoid them since . . .

Coffee and Mints do NOT constitute the lunch of champions.

I recommend ordering pizza, or sending an intern/underling to pick up lunch for you :D

Are you sure? I am sure I saw them on that food pyramid somewhere...maybe under vegatables?

What! No desk food? I couldn't survive without desk food. Sometimes lunch is just to far away, and sometimes, there's just not time.

I'll remember the mint tip. Thanks

Altoids Breath Strips, on the other hand, are a 'superfood'--they're loaded with spirulina, wheat grass, and tofu.

hahahahahaha! I so funny.

Actually, what I consider to be a worthwhile 'drawer food,' because when you read the ingredients, everything in it is actually food, is these. I used to be able to get something even better: an all-organic bar made out of nothing but dried bananas and coconut, with optional addition of almonds or peanuts, and coated with dark chocolate. But I can't find them at all anymore. Or local hippy store had them. I can't even Google the damn things.

My lunch: Gummy worms. At least they have no calories, right?
