Clearly, Its All About Music Today

Laura tagged me a while back and its about time I get around to this. It was a long week. That's my only excuse.

List your current six favorite songs, then pick six other people that have to do the same.

1. "Fix You" by Coldplay (from X&Y)
2. "I Love" by Athlete (from Tourist)
3. "Speed Of Light" by Joseph Arthur (from Come To Where I'm From)
4. "Come In Out Of The Rain" by Engineers (from Engineers)
5. "Landed" by Ben Folds (from Songs For Silverman)
6. "In Your Honor" by Foo Fighters (from In Your Honor)

I'm not going to put anyone on the spot but I'd love to hear what you're listening to. So, think about it and post some answers.

I'm working on a variation of this because I got tagged today-- I have to dedicate this to 5-10 bloggers, and tag them. You were on my list! I'm keeping you on it, but since you've already done the meme, you can just stop by tomorrow and see if you want to!

Oooh, oooh! I'll play! {over anxious girl raising her hand}
I am loving Blue Orchid by the White Stripes, Best of You by the Foo, and whatever number three is on X & Y, oh and We Are All on Drugs by Weezer. I'm sure there are more but it's late and I'm sleepy. Man, my Friday nights are so pathetic. :)

I can never pick a favorite song, there are way to many out there to choose from. For the last week or so though, I've been addicted to the Eve 6 "Horrorscope" album.

What do you think of the new Foo album? I love Virginia Moon. Listening to that one alot and Lonely as You off the old album, Low by Coldplay, Don't You Worry About a Thing by John Legend and Missing by Beck.

Yeah, hi. I think I'm going to be the lone country listener here...

"Fast Cars and Freedom" - Rascal Flatts (who i must explain that I loathe, in general, with the boybandishness and all, but that song seriously kicks ass.)
"As Good As I Once Was" - Toby Keith
"Long Line of Cars" - Cake
"Letters" - Stroke 9
"My Best Friend" - Weezer
"BYOB" - System of a Down

I'm a no-taste musical freak, but its fun being this random...

The soundtrack to Blues Brothers.

:) Way late on this one as I've been bucu (boocoo? - how the hell DO you spell it?) busy, but Fix You is currently the tops of my list, as well... Awesome tunage. Awesome CD...

Speaking of music, knowing you have sooooooo much time on your hands (heh) and I already have Jenorama working on a version of this for me, so not a huge sweat, but a Cactus version would ROCK... I'm in serious need of a "Music You Can Run To" playlist... - just a list... about 90 minutes long. Or ideas for such a thing. For all that damn running I do. ;)

Landed is a great track. I love the stings version. The whole album is great. Ben crafts a good tune and never dissapoints.
