Audioblogging? I Remember That!

It's been a little while since I've actually audioblogged. Sadly, I've got nothing to say...but I won't let that stop me!

wow i'm the first commenter for once!!
midget sighting 2005 - thanks for that update, glad to hear they are still reading or at least trying for the books on the top shelf. ;)

some of us DO see midgets every day.

Posted by: jodi at September 23, 2005 5:04 PM

saw a midget, eh? did you point and laugh? (though I think that we are supposed to call the "little people" in this bloody PC world of ours, or maybe that's just Canada)

anyway, thanks to you I now have these lyrics running through my head and sometimes out of my mouth and people are atarting to look at me funny (er than usual, anyway):

Deep in the Hundred-Acre Wood
Where Christopher Robin plays
You'll find the enchanted neighborhood
Of Christopher's childhood days
A donkey named Eeyore is his friend
And Kanga and little Roo
There's Rabbit and Piglet and there's Owl
But most of all Winnie the Pooh

Winnie the Pooh, Winnie the Pooh
Tubby little cubby all stuffed with fluff
He's Winnie the Pooh, Winnie the Pooh
Willy nilly silly ole bear

Winnie the Pooh, Winnie the Pooh
Tubby little cubby all stuffed with fluff
He's Winnie the Pooh, Winnie the Pooh
Willy nilly silly ole bear

I'm not the only person in the world who knows all the words! Kathryn, I think I might be a little in love with you.

Oh man Chris, I hope ( for your sanity) that Mia doesn't end up demanding that ditty EVERY FREAKING NIGHT FOR MONTHS STRAIGHT when she hits about three years old.
I never want to sing that song again. (twitch)

I used to love it.

Now we're stuck in a "you are my sunshine" rut, but I only sing the first stanza, so the pain is over much more quickly.....

Wow! You sound like my cousin, Schon (at least on Audioblog you do!) haha! I love audioblogging, although I've only done it a couple times!

That audioblogging thing is so awesome, but the videoblogging one is even better. It's nice to know that you still have a voice!

Posted by: Greg at September 23, 2005 7:50 PM

Great. Now that song is in MY head. I think it's neat to hear a blogger's voice. Thanks!

This post right here, makes me feel so much better about my own audioblogging. Ha! I say that with the UTMOST love and respect. You cracked me up with the midget comment.

I had a little kid in my lane at the grocery store buying some Spiderman stuff, and I asked if he knew the theme song, and he said he didn't, so I sang it for him. Lovely, eh? ;) Winnie The Pooh is now stuck in my head, but probably not nearly as badly as it's stuck in yours.

I so understand about babies and obsessing, mine was crazy for this stuffed cat, whom she still has and has named Elsie :-)

You are soooo cute! We need to hear Mia crying or laughing.

i once had a roommate who was a midget. and then, after i moved out, i kept running into her at the bookstore...hmmmmm....

Posted by: suze at September 24, 2005 8:36 AM

Yeah! I got to hear your voice for the first time. Finally, one of the computers I work on has speakers. Keep in mind I work for the largest media company in the world.
Front door thing totally understandable. Im still waiting for my brain to log back in after the birth of my son.
Glad you killed, man.

I just noticed something. You resemble Neil Peart from Rush.

Hooray for the presentation going well!

We do have a lot of midgets in Pittsburgh for some reason. I don't know why. I was just in DC for Friday for another interview, but it seemed you were pretty busy. I'm in love with Rosa Mexicana, though!

glad to hear your presentation went well.

Posted by: amy at September 24, 2005 4:24 PM

Since I'm 5'9 most other people are midgets.

Posted by: Michele at September 24, 2005 6:00 PM

Little people, Chris. He he he. Have fun in the Hundred Acre Woods.

Posted by: Kelly M. at September 24, 2005 6:28 PM

midgets huh? :) interesting to hear the voice behind the blog... Hey that should be VH1's new show!!! Behind the Blog :)

Posted by: Corinne at September 26, 2005 11:07 AM

I find the audioblog a little disturbing. I know oyu are actually a person and not a website but hearing your voice is like have your couch talk to you. I swear I will get over this. On the flip side, you sound exactly how I thought you'd sound.
