Beautiful day, wasn't it?
My maple tree dropped every blessed leaf between sometime yesterday, and this afternoon. My black car was...under there somewhere!
And it didn't bother me a bit. That particular type of golden sunshine did nothing but make me that much happier to be alive today.
(And wow, did I just catch you posting?)
Posted by: Kelie at November 5, 2005 4:55 PMThe past few days have been beautiful here in Michigan.
Posted by: Jenn at November 5, 2005 5:28 PMUnbelievably vibrant colors, bigfoot. Thanks!
Posted by: bhd at November 5, 2005 5:34 PMToday was such a beautiful day. I love those pictures. They remind me of home (upstate NY), which is so hard to be away from during the fall. I was looking out of the window today at the trees, wishing I had a camera to take some great pictures, but these have captured it.
Posted by: Heather B. at November 5, 2005 6:29 PMGorgeous, huh??? we went out and took some pictures yesterday, as well!
Posted by: Steph at November 5, 2005 6:41 PMThe tree with the pinkish leaves? Beautiful.
Posted by: Theresa at November 5, 2005 6:51 PMwow , what nice pics!
Posted by: lizabetty at November 5, 2005 6:57 PMHey Chris....
How do you put three photos into one frame on flickr??
Ohhh la la. Very nice and pretty. Looks like you're at your fall peak. We're just a smidge past our peak now here in the midwest but it's still gorgeous.
Posted by: Colleen at November 5, 2005 10:36 PMMy favorite time of year. Thanks for the beautiful pictures. They made me feel all warm and fuzzy! :)
Posted by: VirgoJen at November 6, 2005 1:14 AMGorgeous pictures!!!
Posted by: Betty at November 6, 2005 3:11 AMOooh, pretty! Leaves don't change colors here. For the most part, they stay green until we have a decent cold snap and then they fall off overnight. Boring!
Posted by: Jaycie at November 6, 2005 5:15 AMIt really is beautiful out there. I tried to capture the colors, but I think you did a much better job.
Posted by: Nicole at November 6, 2005 8:39 AMThere's a tree I pass on my way to work and it looks like it's blushing. It starts with a beautiful pinkish-red at the top and it grows fainter and fainter until it's yellowy gold down toward the bottom. I'd love to photograph it but I don't think my camera would do it justice.
Posted by: Rhonda at November 6, 2005 11:13 AMthat's why fall is my favorite. of course, when the trees start to blossom in the spring, i'll tell you that spring is my favorite. i like them both.
Posted by: jodi at November 6, 2005 12:20 PMHow come your peak is prettier than our peak? Ours have seemed much more dull here in NWI the past few years.
Posted by: Broad at November 6, 2005 1:14 PMoh yummy!!! i really want/need to get out and get some great shots too. today would have been perfect.. sigh.
Posted by: Tricia at November 6, 2005 5:18 PMooooooooooooooo pretty! I sure do miss my fall leaves!
Posted by: HR Mommy at November 6, 2005 6:31 PMGod that's gorgeous, says the gal from the land of everything being permanently green. fall? what's fall?
Posted by: amy at November 7, 2005 2:21 PMI'm so jealous, living in Texas where it never gets cold (going to be 87 tomorrow, time to move)
