Haiku for Monday #109
One week of work then
One week off. It's truly a
Christmas miracle!
I don't think I have ever been the first to comment on one of your posts! haha
Posted by: Dana at December 19, 2005 7:21 AMIf I weren't so offended by your use of the word Christmas I'd comment on this entry.
Posted by: pea at December 19, 2005 7:22 AMI have never told Chris
How much I love his Haiku
It is true. I do.
Nice try, That Girl. One less syllable in the first line.
We all love your haiku'sesies Chris. Merry Christmahannakwanzakuh and whatever other Winter Solstice event you will be celebrating!
Posted by: Phillip at December 19, 2005 8:09 AMWell, we get two weeks!
I wonder what you call that...
a phenomenon?
Chris is off one week
Nick returns to me for two
Life cant be grander
Come in post-XMas
No one is in the building
Sleep at workstation.
Three days off for me.
Last visit to my parents
before tax season!
Sorry, but I'm anal. In my haiku "parents" should have an apostrophe at the end of it - parents', so as to imply my parents' house.
I may be scarred for life and never be able to write another haiku after this.
Posted by: Beth in StL at December 19, 2005 9:46 AMI hear ya!
Posted by: Jenn at December 19, 2005 9:00 PMHere is my Friday Haiku, since I missed Monday:
'Tis the season for
CHRISTMAS -- hustle, bustle, and
Making merriment.
