Happy New Year!

Dear Readers,

Recapping 2005 would take a long time...and most likely bore the ever-loving crap out of you. There have been music and books, guitar playing, car buying, job quitting and promotions. But it's the birth of Mia that proved the most important and wonderful event of the year. Luckily, its one event that keeps yielding new, wonderful moments (aside from the early wake up calls that happen like the one at 3:00 this morning...but even that's kinda nice in a way).

You've spent a lot of your time sitting there reading the stuff I manage to cobble together here on a daily basis and I thank you. Thank you for sharing 2005 with me. I wish you and your families a wonderful, prosperous 2006.

Chris

It's been wonderful watching Mia grow. In fact, Beth referenced the photos on your Flickr account not too long ago, and I found myself marveling at how much she's grown. I'd say that for the Cactus-Fish family, 2005 has been one hell of a year!

I am pleased that 2005 brought us together. (OK, so *technically* the internet did that...) I love being one of your internet friends, and I'm eager to see what 2006 brings.

Happy New Year.

I noticed this year on my good friend Jenorama's blog that there was another Beth posting comments and I had to figure out who she was. Then I come to find out that not only do we have the same name but we are the same age (though I've got a few months on her). Well now I'm hooked on her site and your site and I find myself looking forward to what you two have to say every day. And now that you have Mia I'm curious to see how quickly she's growing and how you two are coping with parenthood. So, thank you both for the entertainment and I look forward to reading your blogs in 2006. Have a happy and safe new year!

It's still many hours away from new year here on the west coast. It's always fun to call my folks in Thailand, 15 hours ahead, to see what's up in the new year. Hee hee.

Happy New Year! Hope Mia enjoy her first countdown! (And keep on rocking that hair!)

I've been mostly lurking lately but wanted to drop by today and wish your family nothing but the best in 2006 and promise I'll be a little more vocal!! I'll be buying some of your book recommendations for my vacation in Feb!!
