Spring Sprung At Midnight
Okay, okay. I took it this past Monday afternoon, around 4:00. But it looks like midnight, doesn't it?
Sadly, it appears as though Spring teased us with a glancing blow only to let that asshat Winter back in a few days later. Oh well. Can't last forever.
More on Flickr as always.
Posted by Chris at March 15, 2006 5:09 PMI want spring too. :-(
Posted by: Ginny at March 15, 2006 5:16 PMWe had snow for about an hour this morning. Crazy!
Posted by: cas at March 15, 2006 5:24 PMSpring is not only sprung around here, it's practically gone already so Summer can rear it's ugly humid head.
I cannot wait to move up North so we can have actual Winters.
Posted by: Contary at March 15, 2006 5:24 PMAnd here we are with the sky just as blue as can be, not a cloud in sight AND under a drought and living in constant fear of wildfires. Send a little precipitation our way could ya?
Posted by: HR Mommy at March 15, 2006 5:41 PMWe had no winter, trees and flowers began blooming in late February, and now we have cold, rain and hail. Today spring has sprung again; tomorrow, more rain and cold.
Oh, we're in the CA San Joaquin Valley. about 80 miles west of Yosemite.
It's crazy.
Posted by: ann adams at March 15, 2006 5:41 PMDamn! Everyone's always calling me a tease! Oh, wait--you meant the OTHER Spring. :P
Very cool picture.

Posted by: Dolly at March 15, 2006 11:09 PMWow--spring is way more sprung in D.C. than it is here in Denver...barely seeing buds on trees and it's supposed to be a high of 37 for the first day of spring :(
Posted by: Liz at March 16, 2006 11:45 AMUh, doesn't look like midnight. sorry.
A friend of mine was in SoCal this last weekend and she said they got hail. Freaky. Its unusual for Houston's weather to be better than theirs.
