My New Toy

I hate to do this to you, but I have the feeling you're going to have to put up with even more pictures than usual.

Awesome! What kind is it, how did you choose it, and where did you get it.

Posted by: jen at April 29, 2006 2:39 PM

as long as you put stuff on your head, i'm ok with it.

we are wearing the same shirt today! freaky!

Posted by: jodi at April 29, 2006 2:43 PM

*camera lust*

Posted by: Amber at April 29, 2006 2:45 PM

Dreamy, isn't it? Nice choice!

Posted by: Jaycie at April 29, 2006 2:49 PM

GASP! I HATE YOU. (not really) seriously, i am envious. if i won the lottery today, one of the first things i would buy would be a digital SLR.

Posted by: Denise at April 29, 2006 3:09 PM

Oh. Boy. Can't wait to see all of the new pics!

Posted by: Beth in StL at April 29, 2006 3:12 PM

Oh man..... all I need is a macro lens and your camera.... *dreaming*

Well, I guess I can dream and still love my little Sony Cyber-Shot W-1.

Enjoy your new toy for me! :o)

Posted by: ironic1 at April 29, 2006 3:14 PM

is that the actual color of your walls or has this photo been shopped? (I love it, either way)

Posted by: kalisah at April 29, 2006 3:42 PM

Ooh, good luck with it. New cameras are the greatest thing since sliced bread.

(I've always wanted to use that expression)

Posted by: Daria at April 29, 2006 3:50 PM

Score for you!

Posted by: C at April 29, 2006 3:56 PM

HEY! Look!! What a toy...

This means more pictures!! :o)

Posted by: Emily at April 29, 2006 4:03 PM

Welcome to our world.

Posted by: marie b. at April 29, 2006 4:25 PM

Nice D50, congrats. I really enjoyed ours. We're s soon to behold the new 30d from Canon.

Posted by: Jason at April 29, 2006 5:23 PM

ah yes very nice, top of the line in digi cams. That green reminds me of the Weezer Green Album.

Posted by: E at April 29, 2006 5:40 PM

I love the green wall. It looks juicy and cool at the same time. Awesome.

Posted by: Annie at April 29, 2006 5:42 PM

OOH! The Nikon? I sit here openly jealous.

*sigh*

Posted by: Pammer at April 29, 2006 5:45 PM

We don't mind at all... honest. You can be resident photographer on our island ;-)

Posted by: JuJu's Mom Linda at April 29, 2006 6:00 PM

Congratulations! I am looking forward to see more photos! Have a nice Sunday!

Posted by: Sonia at April 29, 2006 6:21 PM

Wow! That's awesome! That camera is on my wish list.

Congrats, and keep the pictures coming.

Posted by: Alissa at April 29, 2006 7:01 PM

Ooohhhh what kind? My sis-in-law just bought a Canon US Digital Rebel XT, she loves it!!!!

Posted by: ::c:: at April 29, 2006 8:56 PM

I screwed myself out of a dSLR by getting a laptop and then a house that's way out of our league. You'll just have to love that camera enough for both of us!

Posted by: Becky at April 29, 2006 9:20 PM

nice shot!

Posted by: Dolly at April 29, 2006 9:25 PM

Details please! My husband just bought a Nikon D50 a few weeks ago, and loves it. Have fun with your new toy!

Posted by: donna at April 29, 2006 9:27 PM

So Cool!!! Soooo, do tell??! Which one did you get?? Looks like a Nikon.

Posted by: Tammy at April 29, 2006 11:31 PM

Simmering with jealousy here. My girlfriend, who takes kids' photos as a hobby and gets paid to do it, has been eyeing this camera for a while. So she has been putting all of the money that she makes from photography aside so that she won't have to charge it. And for purely selfish reasons {namely I want to use it and play with it NOW}, I try to convince her every day that store credit is a good thing. I think I'm weakening her.

Posted by: smartjuice at April 30, 2006 12:31 AM

hmm...isn't it kind of difficult to focus through the view finder with both eyes open?

:D

Posted by: reb at April 30, 2006 2:14 AM

nice!

Posted by: patricia at April 30, 2006 8:53 AM

Good for you! What I know about cameras would fit on the head of a pin (a small pin), but I'm assuming it's awesome and worthy of congratulations.

Posted by: Contrary at April 30, 2006 10:17 AM

Very nice!

Posted by: Jules at April 30, 2006 10:35 AM

Have I mentioned recently how much I like the colour of the wall behind you?

delicious.

Posted by: s@bd at April 30, 2006 11:19 AM

You finally gave in :)

Which model is it?

You do know that in no time, you'll be looking at all the lenses out there that you can get for it as well ;)

Posted by: christina at April 30, 2006 2:41 PM

Dammit! What's with you and all the pictures? HUH?! (j/k)

Posted by: Ginny at April 30, 2006 3:54 PM

We have the same one! I absolutely love it! Hooray for more pictures!

Posted by: catbird at April 30, 2006 5:10 PM

Heehee, we just bought a new camera yesterday, too. Must have been something in the air.

Posted by: Kate the Shrew at April 30, 2006 5:13 PM

YAY--I'm always up for new gadgets! And always up for what the gadgets can do to enhance our "Rude" experience!

Posted by: kristen at April 30, 2006 6:22 PM

I have always wondered what the greatest thing was *before* sliced bread.
Looks like a wicked cool camera :) Someday I'll have a digital SLR...someday I'll be a good photographer, too. heh.

Posted by: Heather at April 30, 2006 7:41 PM

ahh...a brand new SLR...no better way to start the summer....congrats. I'm sure she'll bring you much joy!

I just finished a weekend-long SLR course....BRILLIANT...god, the range ...the incredible range of 8 Mega Pixels! I'm working on a Flickr Set...can't wait to see your work with this new toy!

Posted by: wn at April 30, 2006 8:41 PM

Posted by: Zandria at April 30, 2006 9:21 PM
