Balance (Thy Meaning Is Twofold)
To balance out The Seriousness, I offer some Cuteness. Because I can. Why would I not share this?
She's wearing my shirt. Yes, it's a little big on her. For the time being anyway. Posted by Chris at July 19, 2006 1:58 PM
Aww...She looks like a cute knock off of Baby Grim Reaper!! ^_~
Posted by: Michelle at July 19, 2006 2:02 PMBe careful... this is how it starts. :) My sister and I were famous for taking my dad's old workshirts right out from under his nose. :)
Posted by: Laura at July 19, 2006 2:10 PMAbsolutely adorable :) I love the last one, its like she's saying "So, does it look fabulous on me?"
Posted by: christina at July 19, 2006 2:14 PMHmmm. Add a belt and some sensible pumps and...some of the length could be dealt with. Can't help you with the sleeves, though. Cute to the 10th power, however.
Posted by: wordgirl at July 19, 2006 2:25 PMSure starts early. The girls have cute little pajama sets.
What do they sleep in? You guessed it.
She's adorable.
Posted by: ann adams at July 19, 2006 2:29 PMHow cute!! You know putting on one of your shirts and looking in the mirror will be her new favorite pastime. :)
Posted by: Kitty at July 19, 2006 2:37 PMI wasn't thinking Baby Grim Reaper, but more a baby Hogwarts student.
Cute photos!
Posted by: Lisa at July 19, 2006 3:04 PMMirror, mirror, on the wall,
who's the cutest
reaper of them all?
The Grim Reaper didn't even occur to me... I thought she looked like a super intelligent college grad.
Posted by: Liz at July 19, 2006 3:36 PMI love playing dress-up! Can Raisin and I come over and play with Mia? Raisin's got some kick-ass dresses from my days on the bridesmaid circuit.
Posted by: Julie at July 19, 2006 3:39 PMYou will look back on these shots in the years to come and marvel that she was so small and all yours for such a short time. Enjoy it!
Posted by: Maribeth at July 19, 2006 4:45 PMThat's an awful lot of cuteness. You could be serious for at least 3 more posts, based on that.
Also? I totally covet your mirror.
Posted by: Kate the Shrew at July 19, 2006 5:01 PMIs she blowing you a kiss???? Awww... Looks kind of like me in any of Brandon's shirts, just NOWHERE near as cute.
I can always count on you and cute pictures of Mia to brighten my day!
Posted by: Oakley at July 19, 2006 5:56 PMJust the sweetest thing ever!!
Posted by: chantel at July 19, 2006 5:56 PMhand the kid a scythe... cause she is killing me with the cuteness!!
Posted by: stinkerbell at July 19, 2006 6:03 PMI'm a model
You know what I mean?
And I do my little turn
On the catwalk...
She is just the cutest thing.
Posted by: E :) at July 19, 2006 6:03 PMVery, very cute.
On the political stuff, I tend not to answer, because I don't ever feel well enough informed. And I spend to much time looking at blogs to inform myself on politics, which is probably not a good thing.
Plus the one thing my dad always said to me, is to avoid talking about politics and religion and you will live a happier, friendlyier life.
Posted by: Melissa at July 19, 2006 6:05 PMThat brings back memories. My Dad used to HATE when I took his T-shirts. They were just so comfy though. Don't ever get mad when she gets older and wears your shirts. It's a girl/Daddy bonding thing.
Posted by: Venting Mama at July 19, 2006 6:22 PMi had to do a double take... because of where she's standing, it appears your daughter has grown a tail. were you aware of this development? might want to get that checked out. ;)
Posted by: colleen at July 19, 2006 6:33 PMFor some reason, the long shirt remind me of how Cousin It's hair used to drag the floor.
She's so cute...(unlike Cousin It)
Posted by: Emily at July 19, 2006 6:52 PMCrazy cute.
Posted by: Elaine at July 19, 2006 6:57 PMJust a warning - I'm 32 years old and live 5 hours away from my parents but I STILL steal my dad's shirts. I like that we can see you snapping the photo in the middle one and, yeah, I think she IS blowing you a kiss! Too cute!
Posted by: Beth in StL at July 19, 2006 6:57 PMAwww, the first thing I thought of was she looks like shes auditioning for a role in the next Harry Potter movie! How adorable!
Posted by: Lisa at July 19, 2006 7:10 PMAaaawwwww! I'm dying of the cuteness.
At first glance I thought you got her some Nun-like/Amish outfit and I was like "Boy! They're strict with poor little beautiful Mia" :D
Yup, she's one kid you'd give the shirt off your back for just one of those loving glances.
The Bean makes a fashion statement, n'est-ce pas?
Tootles,
Anni :-)
I know an older gentlemen that dressed his daughter (now an adult) in a one piece bathing suit every year on her birthday and took a photo. He made it all the way to 18 years old before she refused. But what a nice thing that she has now. Unfortunately that daughter was not me. It was a one piece modest black bathing suit.
Posted by: PoeticaL at July 19, 2006 8:46 PMadorable!!! so many good posts preceded mine, but yes, daddy/daughter bonding! I have a cardigan I "borrowed" from my dad in 1980, that he wore as far back as 1959. Now MY daughter wears it.
Posted by: kristen at July 19, 2006 9:02 PMCuteness overload!! Man, you are going to have to beat the boys off with a stick.
Posted by: Bayou at July 19, 2006 9:24 PMShe looks dressed as a little young'un from a Dr. Suess book. Lovin' it!
Posted by: Dolly at July 19, 2006 9:38 PMthat is absolutely adorable.
Posted by: kristied at July 19, 2006 11:13 PMAwwww. That is SO sweet!

Posted by: haley-o at July 19, 2006 11:48 PMah... who's the slouch laying on the bed in pic 3? Damn those mirrors!
Posted by: Johnny "Secondhand" Smoke at July 20, 2006 1:28 AMIs she blowing a kiss? She's *sooo* cute...
Posted by: Jenn at July 20, 2006 6:23 AMOur daughter is 7 and still loves to sleep in Dad's t- shirts once in a while. So sweet!
Posted by: Jenn at July 20, 2006 9:37 AMi could die from all that cuteness.
and i love the shot of you in the mirror. so nice.
Adorable, as always!
Posted by: molly at July 20, 2006 10:26 AMShe's very Hogwarts with that shirt. :)
Posted by: Sparkle Pants at July 20, 2006 1:34 PMWhat a sweet little thing.
Posted by: Isabel at July 20, 2006 1:39 PMAww, that brings back some memories. My son slept in his daddy's t-shirts from the ages of about 18 months until he was 5 or 6. We started it as a way to help him stay connected even though Dad worked out of town all week. It was cute, though Mia may even be cuter.
If she's not blowing you a kiss, she's thumbing her nose at you....lol
I love when they are old enough to really get into their relection in the mirror...and that mirror is much nicer than the closet door mirrors I have! Thanks for sharing!
Awesome series. Love the reflection in the mirror.
Posted by: Digital Traveler at July 20, 2006 10:04 PMIs she blowing you a kiss? that is too cute.
