The Surreal Life

I'm not going to lie - it was an odd morning around here.

It's not what it looks like. I mean, Mia wasn't really plying Eeyore with booze. Nobody really partied with wild enough abandon for there to be spontaneous bra removal. Sure, the gigantic duck got a little carried away but we didn't let him drive the truck far. Eeyore and Kitty, though, did end the day a little worse for wear.

Methinks you protest too much....that whole goblet/stuffed animal setup looks mighty suspicious to me...LOL.

New Year's Eve a little early?

Posted by: ann adams at October 30, 2006 4:14 PM

That's it. I am calling EPS. (Eeyore Protective Services).

Posted by: anita at October 30, 2006 4:19 PM

LOL!!!! I dont think its made up, how could you come up with that combination. I love it!!!

Posted by: linda at October 30, 2006 4:31 PM

Looks like it's been an interesting day at your house!

:) Eyore and Kitty need to meet Fleming... dang, this brought back memories... I wonder what Fleming is up to these days? :) (if you have no idea what I'm talking about... we used to find Fleming in compromising positions all over our house)

My favorite thing is the mysterious bra. Does Eeyore need a extra support?

Posted by: Leah at October 30, 2006 5:17 PM

Man you guys sure know how to party!

Posted by: Kate at October 30, 2006 5:59 PM

Hehe, that is so funny. Hmm, I have an eeyore like that (yes, I'm 25 and have a stuffed eeyore, actually I have a few) I hope he doesn't get up to the mad partying whilst I'm away.

Better check his breath for traces of alcohol.

Nah, he's clean. Not sure about Elmo though!

My god, I'm beginning to smell conspiracy! Winnie the pooh everywhere! PS Mia is adorable and I love that rug. :)

Posted by: Bridget at October 30, 2006 6:14 PM

Sounds like my kind of party.

Posted by: Elaine at October 30, 2006 6:31 PM

That's pretty funny. :) Gives us a glimpse of what Mia's college party pictures will look like.

Posted by: Liz at October 30, 2006 6:32 PM

When things go bad in the Thousand Acre Wood, they REALLY go bad don't they? ROFLMAO Chris. Hope you enjoyed the day off.

That Kid holds that glass really well for a child. ;-)

OMG she grew so big!! I haven't been on your blog in ages and it's so nice to see a pic of her!

Posted by: JaG at October 30, 2006 7:17 PM

I LOVE how she's holding the goblet, with her messy hair! TOO MUCH! That picture is priceless!!!

Posted by: haley-o at October 30, 2006 7:41 PM

Looks like a pretty crazy day.

Posted by: Heather at October 30, 2006 8:11 PM

The girl looks a little bit drunk if you ask me.

Don't you just love the things they play with?

Posted by: Melissa at October 30, 2006 8:17 PM

I believe that you are NEVER too old to let your hair down and have a few glasses of wine with your stuffed animals.

Letting the duck get behind the wheel though, that was just poor decision-making.

Posted by: angela at October 30, 2006 8:26 PM

Oh my goodness...this is too funny! I love it!

Posted by: Colleen at October 30, 2006 8:52 PM

It seems like it was a lotta fun! Also I assume Eeyore is still Mia's boyfriend...right since babyhood....

Posted by: Dee at October 30, 2006 8:55 PM

That's one of those pics that someday, when Mia gets married, will be in a collage at the reception. So cute...

Posted by: Lisa B at October 30, 2006 8:58 PM

I just love your little family. You guys are Rockin parents.

Posted by: alfredsmom at October 30, 2006 10:23 PM

Looks like Eeyore got toasted, dude.

You do make my day with the smiles you bring into it.

My sons never got a wine glass, but had a good time one morning playing with a beer bottle - empty beer bottle.

Cute pictures.
