Haiku For Monday #225

I'm at the beach.
Please feel free to be jealous.
It's a blog day off.

So over to you.
Open comments and 'ku like
there's no tomorrow.

Yep, that's right - an old
school haiku smackdown, bitches.
Now 'ku like the wind.

so blessed to be here,
enjoying my job and life.
thank God for each day!

Took the day off, too,
But instead of beaching it,
I'm cleaning my house.

i beat everyone
and won about six cupcakes
in a 'ku contest.

i was only eight
and in second grade back then.
i still remember...

i just kept winning!
so the teacher made me stop,
just like i'll do now.

Vacation Monday
But paycheck already spent
Good thing beach is free.

I miss the smackdown
'Twas my Wednesday highlight
Too bad I can't stay

I start a new job
Working at a French preschool
Time for language switch!

My cat won't come home
is he mad or lost or dead
Chuckie come home please!

nancyjak's haiku
is so very depressing!
hope chuckie's okay.

No cactus? so sad!
what will we do this monday
with only a ku

I live at the beach
I live in St Petersburg
Florida that is

I see the sunset
at the beach once every week
be jealous of me

people pay money
to vacation in my town
I can go for free

enjoy your time off
pretend it's free too because
thats when the joy comes

i wonder if there's
a "hiakus anonymous"?
i'll need to attend.

i can't quit you, 'ku!
it's totally addictive.
count: five seven five!

Well, no way I can 'beat' RzDrms, but I'll still throw down my 'ku:

My beach was a pool
with friend; got sunburned big time
on top of my tan!

All lotioned up now,
Feeling a little better,
I hope I don't peel!

Hubby not allowed
to touch me unless he spreads
burn lotion on me.

Might sleep nekkid 'cos
smooth, cool sheets feel best on skin.
Get extra blanket!

OK, TMI and my brain is fried. Enjoy the beach and the fam, my friend!

Hello! Mr. Cactus,
Sorry, no 'ku from me. That would require way too much brain power and I have to save all I have for the work environment - besides it's Monday! Yeh, I know, I suck.

Question:
What program do you use to create those very cute picture collages?

Enjoy your vacation!

i write this on a tuesday
because life is crazy.
