As I have frequently lamented over the past few days, we're indeed back from the beach. Instead of boring you all with every little detail of the trip, here's The Week In Numbers Beach Edition...and some pictures.

I don't have any numbers to share, as my weekend mostly consisted of trying to get back on a schedule because my son was home all last week. And you know how kids can quickly get off and all wacky.

We were at the beach in Destin on the Florida panhandle and noticed the same thing re: the Eastern Europeans. Everyone who waited on us at all the stores were from Russia or Bulgaria. WTF??

We were on a lake vacation last week as well. Here are our numbers:

Times our daughter wanted to go FASTER: 237
Ears of corn consumed by 4 adults: 6
Hot dogs eaten by toddler: 5
Requests by toddler to "peek" in garage to see the TWO lawnmowers: 5906
Fevers: 1
Mysterious rashes: 1
Times Mother-in-law got drunk and annoyed the crap out of daughter-in-law (me): 1
Times MIL got drunk: 3 (out of 3 nights)
Times I've replayed toddler's first middle-of-the-lake swimming experience in my head: 349,043,098 and counting. She LOVED it. (And wore a life preserver while being held by mama & daddy)
