Wish You Were Here

Dear Internet,

Wish you were here. No, really. It would be fun. I mean, the restaurants would all be really crowded and it would be a bitch to get a good spot at the beach. But it would still be fun. Anyhoo, you're not. So I'm just dropping you a line to let you know that the Cactus-Fish clan is here, at the beach, living it up. We're making sandcastles, walking the boardwalk, eating way too many French fries and snowcones and riding all kinds of rides.

Be jealous, Internet. It's pretty awesome.

Dear Chris,

We are jealous.

And we hate you.

I think Jon summed it up! lol

Also, I feel the need to eat up that gorgeous boy of yours!

Enjoy the beach, have a beer and some fries for me too :D

I am jealous...I'm not going on vacation until August.

Posted by: Dee at June 29, 2009 1:06 PM

Isn't it kind of dangerous to announce to the world you're not home???

Posted by: Darren at June 29, 2009 1:07 PM

Don't forget the funnel cakes. It's not a trip to the beach without funnel cakes.

Enjoy. :)

Have a lovely time! And eat some fries for me, please :)

Posted by: bad penguin at June 29, 2009 2:17 PM

...maybe he is at home. Sitting there... rubbing his shotgut... "bring it on, internets"

I'm not falling for it. I'm going to the beach.

Officially jealous over here in sweltering Arkansas with no ocean breeze, no sand and no boardwalk for comfort.
Have a great time!

Posted by: Wack-a-do at June 29, 2009 3:31 PM

Definitely jealous! Hope you're having a blast :)

Posted by: Heather at June 29, 2009 4:51 PM

Are you eating crabs? Because if you are, I really hate you.

Just like my family.

Posted by: Aimee Greeblemonkey at June 29, 2009 6:17 PM

Very jealous. I'll be sure to email you when I am on vacation and let you be green with envy awhile. ;)

Posted by: Theresa at June 29, 2009 6:56 PM

I hear the Internet is more than jealous. It's thinking about going down because of you!

You had to rub it in, Chris!

Posted by: Dear AL at June 29, 2009 7:07 PM

Have a great week!

And Darren, I think it's only dangerous to announce to the world that you're not home when you've also announced to the world what your address is. Which I can't see Chris or Beth ever doing when they've never even released their true surname (for very good reasons). I'm sure Chris doesn't need people on his blog making him think about the safety of his home whilst he is relaxing on holiday lol!

Have fun and use a lot of sunscreen!

Posted by: coolchick at June 29, 2009 9:52 PM

Dear Chris:

I'm happy for you. I hope you get many sunny days to enjoy it.

Thank you for the postcard.

awwwww have fun Cactus Fish family!!

Posted by: La Petite Belle at June 30, 2009 7:29 AM

have fun! I giggled at the comment up there about how it's dangerous to blog that you are away.

I'm leaving on Friday, and I'm less worried that people will find/rob my house (one of a million identical rowhomes in Philly, sometimes I can't find it) and more worried that someone will try to talk to me on my trip.

Posted by: Lora at June 30, 2009 2:26 PM

Have lots of fun. Hope you enjoy. Life is too short. :)

Posted by: Elizabeth at July 1, 2009 8:31 AM

Posted by: Fraulein N at July 1, 2009 8:50 AM
