Cactus-Fish Kid Truth #2
Mia is the most determined kid I have ever known. Tonight, mere minutes ago, she participated in her swim team's swimathon. She swam for 45 minutes straight. 27 laps. That is determination.

Posted by: Heather at July 14, 2010 1:44 AMWooo! Go Mia :D You know if she ever has a meet in my town (Hey, we're only totally on the other side of the continent - but *apparently* we're the tournament capital of Canada, so if Mia goes all international...) I would definitely come to cheer her on ;)
Posted by: Heather at July 14, 2010 3:26 AMOhhhh btw! I got "Cut, Paste, Kill" from the library today and I am quite looking forward to digging into it this weekend :D
Posted by: Heather at July 14, 2010 3:27 AMIf Mia ever decides to make some sort of motivational self-help "Just Do It!" DVD, put me down for a copy.
