Naming The Band
After a tremendously long and not altogether conscious search, I've found a new band name...if I ever get around to forming a new band, that is. We were walking through the botanical gardens a few weeks back and it hit me. Or, rather, I hit it. Or tripped on it. A sign. About grass.
Redtop Panicgrass is pretty much the best band name ever and a worthy successor to Rude Cactus (which, if you didn't know, was my first band name). Whilst in the gardens, I also managed to capture a shot that would make a very back cover-worthy band shot.
Cheer up, emo kids.
What's your favorite band name? What would you name your band?

My album name would be "Standard & Poor".
PS: Love the new design!
My band name would be "Persnickety Bitches"
Love the photo.
My band name would be "Onomatopoeia Butter".
YOU JUMP, I JUMP JACK (always all caps)
Apparently my band name would be "rabid smoothie-jacking ninjas" as I said that in a facebook comment back in Feb and one of my friends said that would be a great name for a band.
If I ever had cause to name a band, I might have to ask you for help with that ;-) Redtop Panicgrass is pretty darn great!
When I was a kid, I saw a display after Easter of hollow chocolate bunnies riding motorcycles, but the packages had been jostled around so much that the heads had come loose in some cases. I said something about the "decapitated motorcycle bunnies," and my brother (at least a decade later) used it as a band name.
In high school, my (imaginary) band name was "Blue Sobriquet."
I don't have a current favorite, but I definitely notice phrases that sound like band names -- one of my favorite games to play. Too bad I can't remember them!
