Saddam: Captured

I know its all over the news but it was a nice surprise to wake up this morning to the news that Saddam had been captured. While I've been an opponent of the whole Iraq conflict, this does help me feel as though we've actually accomplished something.

What? When did this happen?

definitely. I haven't really kept up with the whole politics of everything, but when we heard about it the other day, it definitely gave me... I guess, hope? it made me feel a little better about the world.

Agreed. And bravo Dubya, it was so well timed!

Well this should certainly help Bush with the coming election. He needed this score. I never thought this would happen! I was shocked and thrilled, and felt somewhat safer... nice Christmas present for America. :-)

I liked the news, but disliked all of the focus on how this will help Bush/hurt Dean/help Kerry/help Ralph Nader in 2004. (ok, the last one is a joke.)

I think it was just what it was, a day to celebrate the capture of a tyrant. Not a day to politicize things. But that's the media, I guess.
