Take A Memo

Note To Self #1:
New bedroom furniture is larger than old bedroom furniture. And its arranged differently.

Note To Self #2:
New bedroom furniture hurts when walked into early in the morning...in the dark.

Note To Self #3:
The Swan has to be the worst thing I've ever seen on TV. Yet, why was I compelled to watch the whole damn thing?

Note To Self #4:
It's Thursday so its Haiku Smackdown time. Its being hosted over at the Judith Light Brigade site this week!

I did not watch The Swan. I was too embarrassed to let TiVo know that I secretly really, really wanted to see it.

I have a night light just for that reason. Running into things...NO it isn't because I'm scared of the dark!! Hey, SHUT UP, so what if I am?!

Me being the self diagnosed reality junkie that I am, I started watching the swan, but after about 5 minutes turned the channel, that has to be the most ridiculous idea I've ever seen for tv.

I don't watch reality shows but from the description it sounds a lot like Extreme Makeover without the surgery. (so so sad, that I can make that comparison).

I think they're all awful.

Bring back MASH! Bring back Cheers! Bring back Seinfeld! If I'm going to watch mindless programming, I want it to be just a little bit clever.

I can't watch all the surgery stuff. But I was very tempted to watch anyway, it was almost too tempting.

Well I'm big enough to admit that not only did I WATCH The Swan but I thought it was GREAT. Yes, I said great. One thing I was most impressed with on this show vs. exteme makeover or famous face is that they had a therapist and made much ado about helping the women with the emotional transformations they were going through as well as the physical. I know I'll get slammed for that but what can I say...I really liked it.

I FORBADE my husband to watch it. That show disgusted me in so many ways.

You could stick a bunch of glow in the darks onto your bed....

Agreed- the Swan is an absolute horribly degrading show. They make them all beautiful using plastic surgery and such and then they build up their confidences...and we get to see them crash and burn when the "less-pretty" people don't win the so called "beauty pagent." Gotta love America and her bright media club.
