Friday...And (Not) Working

Good morning and Happy Friday! I am reporting again from the RC3! Important to note that I am not STILL at work. If you followed my cries for help yesterday, I can report that I made it out alive and marginally sane (really, not so much)...after an 18 hour day. Yes, in at 6:00 AM and out at 12:00 AM. Today? I'm "working from home" which basically means I'm doing whatever the hell I feel like.

I'll be getting to the backlog of email and blog visits I owe you guys today. You gotta hate it when work gets in the way of the good stuff.

Special thanks to my lovely wife for waiting up for me last night to see her wreck of a husband arrive safely home.

I have a fun filled day of taking my son to meet his preschool teacher. Pictures and crying will be in the agenda. It's not even his first day...I am so weak. Enjoy your day!

Oh, those bad bad employers, making you work such long hours. Enjoy your work day at home today!

Did she have pizza a beer like a good wife should?

I hope you have spent your day in an orgy of booze, junk food, and daytime television. (Note to any of Chris's workmates reading this: that's code for "an orgy of spreadsheets, educational technical documents, and billable hours."

Man, you and I both need to find a way to Just Say No to the crazed employers that demand insane hours.

Like, I had 39 hours in two days at two separate jobs which are 7 hours apart. I got home, took a fifteen minute power nap, a shower, went to work again.

It sucked.

Fifteen in an office clad in sleeves and slacks is probably almost as bad.
