Rude Cactus Versus...

When I rolled through the front door this evening, Beth was watching a movie (she had the day off...I didn't). From the sound of it, there was drama, general turmoil and British accents. I went on about my business, changed clothes and sat down with a book to decompress.

Me: What the hell were you watching?
Beth: You'd have hated it.
Me: It just sounded horrible. Not, like, a bad movie but like bad things were happening to people. What was it about?
Beth: Nuns.
Me: Loud, screaming nuns?
Beth: Evil nuns...the bitches.
Me: Ooh...evil nuns with ninja skills?
Beth: No, but evil zombie nuns.
Me: Ahhh, cool! The Nundead.

Can't you see the comic books, action figures and, eventually, feature film now? My idea! Don't steal! And no, I have no idea what the movie was called or what it was really about.

Heh. Nundead. That's horrendous.

When you go out on the road on your comedy tour, you might want to keep the nundead joke back in the hotel room ;) Even though it made me giggle.

Anyway, sorry I disappeared. I've been doing that a lot lately - like a ninja, but not a nun-ninja. A rock star ninja?

Even if it goes straight to video, I would rent "The Nundead"

On a strangely semi-related note. I have a finger nun. Yes. A finger nun. It's a little plastic finger puppet nun. It was given to me by my mother on my 30th birthday as part of my "30 things for 30 years" gift.

Nundead...that sounds like it has promise.

And to think I gave up TV. Undead Nuns. You know, when Beth is on her deathbed (ha! The Bethbed! :D ), and she's recalling her life and how she spent it and all the things she saw, and all the things she didn't see, and wishing for one more hour to go and see something she missed, I think she'll really regret watching that movie instead of seeing something that would have made her alot happier.

Uh, unless Saturday Night Fever was on. I'd give up two hours of my life to see that again. :)

OK, but now I'm too curious: What movie was it?

Posted by: DeAnn at January 18, 2005 05:42 AM

I would not be surprised in the least to see your idea sell thousands and hook little children all over the world, for two reasons...
1) everything the cactus touches turns to gold
2)people are sick
lol
I wouldn't buy them for my children. I have a hard enough time with some of the crap they want.....
;)
