The Nursery: First Draft
Remember the day off I took on Friday? The one during which I wasn't going to do anything but kick back and relax? Surprise! I didn't really take it as easy as I'd intended. Or the weekend for that matter. I give you, The Nursery: The Rough Mix.
Its nowhere close to being done but at least you'll have an idea of the colors we used. The furniture should be on its way and I have some stenciling to do. So, more pictures soon. And seriously, what's with me and the decorating lately? Posted by Chris at May 4, 2005 06:52 PM
pretty :)
Posted by: laura at May 4, 2005 07:17 PMOoh- ahh! It's all Caribbean color theme. Hey, maan, I like it. The bebe, she will, too! What you need in there is a duck!
Posted by: vicki at May 4, 2005 07:24 PMIt's beautiful...refreshing..yet calm...all at once..but then again, I expected no less from you and Beth.
Fr: the pot that called the kettle black
(I am still working...out of town mind you... but working and will be doing so for the next several hours)
cheers to the three of you

So, can we call you Christopher Lowell now? Wait. Your name IS Chris. Hmmm. We never see you and Christopher Lowell together. It's all very suspicious!

Posted by: cheezwerks at May 4, 2005 09:21 PMGood job daddy! I should email you a pic of mine, it's robin's egg blue and sage green with a white chair rail. I still love it after four years of spending much time in that room.
Posted by: A.K. at May 4, 2005 09:23 PMCool!
So did you end up painting while it was raining outside, or were you smart and wait for a nice day so the room had ventilation? ;)
lookin' good

Posted by: chlamygirl at May 5, 2005 06:24 AMWow, that looks great. Personally I am not a fan of traditional animated character themed nurseries in pink and blue. So I doubly admire your sense of style.
Posted by: alfredsmom at May 5, 2005 08:52 AMLOVE the ceiling color. :-)
Posted by: Fraulein N at May 5, 2005 10:33 AMVicki is right, it's a Caribbean theme! Add a couple of palm trees, a beach and Bob Marley and the Beanette is totally ready rock this world.
But seriousely, I love the colors. Can't wait to see more pics WITH furniture :)
Posted by: Sweety at May 5, 2005 12:05 PMI'm so jealous of the molding. Nicely done! And, if you're still interested in being crafty, I've got some work for you.
