Comfort of Everyday Objects

We all have them - the little things we can't live without, the things we reach for each day. These are mine.

Hey...that wallet looks pretty fat with all that plastic in there. JEEZE...just HOW many cards are in there?!!!!! :)

Posted by: VirgoJen at October 31, 2005 10:59 AM

excuse me but where are pictures of wife and baby? don't tell me you can live without them.

and is that last one a stapler? you can live without wife and baby, but you can't without a stapler?

oh to tease, it is the fun.

just thinking of carrying that wallet around in my back pocket is making my back hurt. i think you need to prune that bad boy. a license, a credit card and a twenty dollar bill. that's all you really need. :D so get to it mister!

very nice collage, I need some inspiration for adobe'ing! Well done, looks like we have similar closets with the pressed dressed shirts however I must confess I hate ironing so I go the easy route, hooray for the dry-cleaners!

Nice stuff! I lerve your photos. Me thinks you missed your true calling.

What kind of camera do you use? I am shopping for one now and I'm taking recommendations.

Very cool set of photos.

hey, i have a sonic care toothbrush too! party in your mouth, it makes your teeth feel sparkly.

I gotta see that shirt line up in full blown color...that's the neatest menswear I've ever seen. And how how how did a photo of a diaper escape your everyday object line up? How???

What a nifty photo essay thingy. (I'm so bloody articulate, it hurts sometimes.)

Posted by: Heather at October 31, 2005 01:27 PM

This is really great, maybe you could make some money on the side with a photographer gig?

Posted by: JuJuBee at October 31, 2005 01:34 PM

Passat or Jetta? Or neither? heh

Nicely done. I'm not sure what I would put in such a collage...

Posted by: Rhonda at October 31, 2005 01:48 PM

Brilliant! Creative! And visually stunning!

Posted by: Kelly at October 31, 2005 01:54 PM

What a creative idea! :)

By the way, how do I change the email address that my notifications of your updates are sent to? I recently changed my email address and would like to fade my either one out. It's official. I'm now one of the "cool kids" with my gmail account, tehe.

Anyway, I really liked your photo post this morning. Have a great Monday!

(Are Dunkin Donuts still selling their Vanilla Coffee Coolattas? OMG! I haven't had one of those in forever, but I was addicted to them about five years ago when I was out on the east coast for two weeks. We don't have Dunkin Donuts in Colorado - it's all about the Krispy Kreme and I've never even ate one of those so yeah).

Interesting...lots of insight into Chris. Great idea, and well done.

I do agree with a previous commenter though, where is the wife and daughter?

Posted by: Emily at October 31, 2005 04:31 PM

It is funny once we realize how many things we *have* to have around. But seriously, you can't live without all our goodies, right?

I know I can't!

Happy Halloween!

Personally, I'm glad you didn't put Beth and Mia under the title of 'everyday objects. Maybe if you changed the title to 'everyday comforts'... This is a fun idea for a photo meme.

Posted by: Amber at October 31, 2005 05:41 PM

Are all of these done with a point-and-click camera? Or do you have a cool photography one? From the photos with your camera in them, it seems we have the same one, but mine can't do nearly the things you do with them. Though I also suck at photoshop.

These are great pictures. I mean, I know they are of everyday items, but they look wonderful.

A big "HEEEEELL YEAH" on the Dunkin' Donuts. Around here, we call it the "DD" or the "Diddy." It is practically a member of the family since I became pregnant.
