Working For The Weekend

One of the advantages of working from home is that I can occasionally get Mia to do some of my work for me.

I have to do a little database design. You think there's any way I can get her to help?

Happy Friday everyone!

Getting her ready for work already! :) By the way, I had a bizarre dream last night and in it was a cactus.....

Great pics. As far as her designing the database. If your employer appreciates early american baby giberish.. sure...

So cute.

She looks totally captivated.
Thanks for sharing

Wow! Starting her a little young, dont'cha think?

You know, soon enough, you'll need her to set the clock on the microwave and the VCR...

You might want to wait till she can read, but I bet she COULD do it.

always good to start them off young...

Hey what the heck. Put 'er to work early I say. I've already got 5 month old Baby V burning my recipes to CD-ROM

Awww that Mia, she's one smart cookie.
All those looks and brains too.

I think she's up to the challenge.

poor mia bean...she should have at least a few more months before being forced into the work force ;)

Child labor is underrated, for sure.

Don't let the neocons hear about what you are doing. They might make Mia their poster-child for their plans to turn the clock back 70 years.

its kind of a twist to bring your kids to work day, only your doing it out of the comfort of your home. Let her jump in and get her hands dirty, its a good resume builder :-)

Hmmm...wish my kids could do mine sometimes.

The apple does not fall far from the tree. I had to whip out the insulin pump due to all the sweetness.

Enjoy your Friday and weekend!

Embracing technology at such a young age...awesome. Thanks for sharing the pictures and have a great Friday and weekend!

Cheers,
JJ

I dont know about that... but I can damn well bet you that she will be VERY interested in that thing on your screen :)

Posted by: stinkerbell at February 3, 2006 10:27 AM

Well after she gets done helping you maybe she could help me work on my web page.

Posted by: MrsJoseGoldbloom at February 3, 2006 10:40 AM

Hey, I was cleaning toilets for my dads auto shop when I was five, so really she's ready to work anytime.

Posted by: Elaine at February 3, 2006 10:47 AM

Aren't there laws against this?

Posted by: Jamie at February 3, 2006 11:14 AM

And how much do you pay? Negotiating with food is not an option you know.

Posted by: Nik at February 3, 2006 11:16 AM

I just hope she's being well compensated!!

Posted by: Ms. Q at February 3, 2006 11:40 AM

She seemed to like the $20's you all paid her to sleep... think that will work? BTW... wanna TP the White House w/ us? (for context you'd have to read my post today)... I'm sure Dubya'd like that!!!

Happy Friday to you as well. What an adorable little helper you got there. I'm sure she would do an excellent job on the database design. Probably better than I could anyway :) Have a lovely weekend!

I'd get my hounds to help when I'm working at home, but they tend to drool in the keyboard. And the gecko is too small to type properly. Since he has to hop from key to key, it takes him hours to write just a few lines of code.

How would you feel about loaning me Mia every once in awhile, so I can stay connected to the VPN and look like I'm working, but actually I'd be off having a snooze?

Posted by: pie at February 3, 2006 03:11 PM

Wow! What an industrious family! I could put her to work on a couple of designs too, if she finishes yours up and has a little free time.

Posted by: Queen of Ass at February 3, 2006 05:19 PM

Now what you really should be doing is getting her to work on *her* site. That thing hasn't been updated in eons! ;)

Posted by: Heather at February 3, 2006 06:16 PM

Give her a little time in front of the computer and I'm sure in no time she'll know more than you do. Kids are crazy like that with computers you know!
