When You Need to Protect Your Nose Against Invading Children...

For those of you who've ever wondered, yes, child-proof outlet covers fit the adult nose perfectly...

...and make excellent nose-plugs. This discovery is brought to you by Mia.

Oh my.

My kids stuck outlet covers in their own noses, but never in mine!

Were you playing the "I look like I'm awake but I'm really sleeping" game when she did that?

Posted by: ironic1 at September 1, 2006 08:21 PM

Oh my. I guess she can't stick her fingers up your nose now!

So did she take the child-proof outlet cover off the outlet and then in your nose, or was there one laying out? Because if she took it off the outlet I'd say that's not very child-proof.

Does that help when they crap all over you. My best friend brought her daughter to the office today. We had lunch, then went back to the office. As I was walking around with her and showing her off; she crapped down the front of my shirt, pants and shoes.

Stinky Pooh, doesn't even cover it!!

Maybe it's time for a Mr. Potato Head? So then she won't use you as one?

Okay... so this comment has nothing to do with your post... but I was at Old Navy a few weeks back and they had a onesie that said "My daddy's a rockstar" on it! I frantically searching for one that might be Mia's size but unfortunately, they only went up to 9 months. I tried. :) Rylee's daddy is way too boring to be a rock star so it wouldn't have made sense to buy it for her... he he. *(Basketball star, maybe)

They also fit other places.

This discovery made by my husband.

Elaine: I was kind of laughing at Chris but now I'm just laughing out loud at you.

Wonder if this helps when the child falls face first onto your nose? My nephew did that, and broke mine.

You know, you wear it quite well...

Posted by: mamatulip at September 2, 2006 10:16 AM

OK, at first I was concerned it was some weird pacifier thing. I'm relieved it was only an outlet cover!

Look at you, pretending like you don't love it!

I'm thinking Mia was getting a head start on your Halloween costume :)

Finally! Someone answered that question for me. Ya know, because I've been wondering.

Posted by: Peggy at September 2, 2006 10:44 PM

Well thank God, I was always wondering...

How fetching!

That's a very egoless way of demonstrating Mia's excellent small motor skills.

Posted by: Vaguely Urban at September 4, 2006 05:19 PM

Oh I love this. Sure blame it on the baby.
