Now that is a cool photo! And Mia looks so cute, she's all like, "Uh, Dad, what ARE you doing? Please come down from there!"

THAT is a FANTASTIC pic. Love the look on Mia's face-- cutie-pie!

This is a fabulous pic. The look on her face is priceless!

You look like Elvis in this pickture. Is that a 3/4 length guitar? I haven't seen one in years. Awesome shot.

Look at poor mortified Mia.
"Dad if you do this when I'm 16 and friends over, you are SO dead."

Posted by: Pamalamadingdong at December 2, 2006 03:24 PM

That's a great photo. I expect you'll get that look from Mia a lot come about age 13. It's the "What's wrong with you?" look. But when she's older, she'll absolutely love this picture. And you and Beth can look at it and reflect on the time in your lives when you could voluntarily get that far off the floor.

Oh, Mia, your daddy rocks!

Posted by: Alison at December 2, 2006 03:57 PM

Now, if only all dads could be as cool as you! Mia is one lucky little girl.

Posted by: Danielle at December 2, 2006 04:34 PM

Mia's thinking "Maybe he really can fly!"

Posted by: E :) at December 2, 2006 05:34 PM

Dude, that is some wicked vertical loft you have there. I hope every (good) thing you do always impresses your daughter that much. guitar.

Posted by: Heather at December 2, 2006 06:03 PM

Oh, that is SO great. I can see Mia wanting this one framed when she's all grown up.

Posted by: Fraulein N at December 2, 2006 06:53 PM

Awesome :)

Posted by: Mary at December 2, 2006 07:12 PM

That is just the best picture! I love it!

Posted by: Maribeth at December 2, 2006 07:51 PM

Dude. Love that photo. I think you should try doing this in front of her dates in 15 years...

Posted by: Lisa B at December 2, 2006 08:27 PM

And who said white men can't jump?

Posted by: Heather at December 2, 2006 08:40 PM

Is that awe or is she mad that you're playing with her toy? (Wasn't she playing the guitar in a previous picture?) What an adorable shot of her and rocking shot of you.

Posted by: Krush at December 2, 2006 08:43 PM

This provews that you are quite possibly the most fun dad on the planet. Rock on!!

Posted by: Heather at December 2, 2006 09:27 PM

Great picture. Mia's all "There he goes again..."

Posted by: Jenn at December 2, 2006 09:35 PM

Great photo!

Posted by: Chris at December 3, 2006 01:00 AM

At first I was very impressed with the air you achieved, but I looked closer and I can see the wires. Still pretty cool though.

Posted by: whit at December 3, 2006 03:06 AM

Wow, that makes Mia look so tiny!

Posted by: Katherine at December 3, 2006 06:36 AM

Yup I have to agree with the others alright. As a dad and a rock star you are awesome. I keep thinking someday you will be a rock star and on stage and Mia will be looking over at you on stage then and thinking....uhhuh that's my dad!
p.s. shhhhh I had looking "up" at you at first and then changed it to over at you. She is a star too and will be on stage somewhere also.:)

Takes ' IF Your Happy and You Know It' to an entirely different level!

Posted by: Pendullum at December 3, 2006 08:28 AM

Thats an excellent pic! Mia looks so scared/confused, "What's happening to him, what's happening to him? Oh God, He's possessed. One man down...umm...Up"

Posted by: Dee at December 3, 2006 10:56 AM

11x14 ... or larger ... blow it up, frame it, and hang it in that place in your house that is just public enough that when people find it they go "whoa!"

Posted by: Eric at December 3, 2006 11:12 AM

And may I presume that Incredible Photo Kudos are due to Beth for capturing such an awesome shot?

Posted by: Eric at December 3, 2006 11:18 AM

Very nice!

Posted by: anna at December 3, 2006 04:35 PM

Poor Mia just doesn't quite know what to think of you in this picture - is she in awe or is she terrified? Are you playing a ukulele or at least a smaller-than-normal guitar? What another great picture!

Posted by: Beth in StL at December 3, 2006 06:04 PM

Oh, I don't think there's any doubt in Mia's mind right there: "My daddy is a rock star!" is obviously what she's thinking.

Posted by: shelley at December 4, 2006 05:55 PM

LOVE THIS! :) I can't take how adorable Mia is! Can't. Take it!!!! And, dude, you can jump! :)
